I am currently studying mechanical engineering at Stony Brook University. I'm in an accelerated B.E./M.S. program. I'm working to finish my grad and undergrad simultaneously.I love education and I use my physics and math skills on a daily basis. My love of education and academia has led me to become a tutor to share that interest with others. After I had a taste of tutoring, I really began to love it and I've been tutoring students for several years. I have experience in tutoring students from elementary age up to the college level. I like tutoring high schoolers the best. I have experience in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Algebra 3/4, Pre-Calc, Calculus 1, AP Calculus AB, Geometry, Math, and Trigonometry.When tutoring, I find that it's very important to help the students understand the "why" of all problems. My tutoring style is based around the idea that if you can understand why you're doing something, it's easier to understand how to do it.My hobbies include biking and engineering. I like anything related to technology! You'll often find me working on small-scale engineering projects. I have been creating some fun projects with a programmable microcontroller that I just got.
